Originally from Scotland Dr. Findlay graduated in medicine from Edinburgh University.  After Anestheia training in Glasgow, Scotland he moved to the United States, completing fellowships in Critical Care Medicine and in Transplant Anesthesiology.  He joined the staff of the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN where he is currently an associate professor and Head of Transplant Anesthesia.  He has also been Chair of the ASA committee on Transplant Anesthesia and the ILTS Anesthesia/Critical Care Committee.
