National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute

Dr. Agbor is an Associate Staff Clinician at the National Institutes of Health and Co-Director at the Laboratory of Transplantation Genomics at the National Heart, and Blood Institute -NHLBI- (Bethesda Maryland) and the Genomic research Alliance for Organ Transplantation (GRAfT). GRAfT is a consortium of 5 transplant hospitals and the NHLBI with principal goal of using novel non-invasive precision genomic approaches to profile allograft injury in relation to transplant complications. In addition to his research role, Dr. Agbor is a transplant pulmonologist at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Comprehensive Transplant Center (Baltimore, Maryland).

Sean Agbor graduated medical school from the University of Yaoundé I, Cameroon followed by doctoral and post-doctoral training in Dr. Eugene Davidson’s laboratory at Georgetown University Medical Center, Washington DC.
