Dr. Francisco Hernández is the Clinical Chief of Pediatric Transplantation and affiliated professor at the La Paz University Hospital of Madrid. Currently, he is responsible for Quality & Safety of the Pediatric Pediatric Surgery Service, and acted as a consultant of the Spanish Agency for Normalization in the accreditation of Liver Transplant programs. He has conducted and participated in several research projects focused in experimental intestinal transplantation, and he is the Director of the group of Transplantation Research in Biomedical Research Institute IdiPAZ. Finally, he is a member of the executive board of the European Reference Network ERN TRANSPLANTCH ILD.
