Infectious Diseases Consultant at the Liver and Digestive Organ Transplant Division, Hospital Clinicas, University of Sao Paulo. 

She graduated from Medical School and obtained her PhD at the University of Sao Paulo, and her post-doctorate studies were performed in Hôpital Paul Brousse in Villejuif, France.
