I am a Researcher in Transplantation Science within the Research and Development Division of NHS Blood and Transplant and a Honorary Clinical Research Associate in University of Oxford, UK. Having obtained my DPhil from University of Oxford in Transplantation Science, my research focuses to better understand the biological mechanisms that lead to organ injury or regeneration and to develop novel diagnostics of donor organ quality that are predictive of transplantation outcomes. The clinical relevance of my research work has the potential to increase utilization of deceased donor organs and improve long term transplantation outcomes for organ recipients. I hold the role of Translational Research Coordinator within the UK Consortium of Quality in Organ Donation (QUOD) and the Consortium of Organ Preservation in Europe (COPE).
